Three assessors supervised the exam that consisted of practical tests and an interview. As an example, the candidates were tested on sewing skill by sewing 20 pieces of pocket to a body within 60 minutes. An interview was conducted to assess the candidates’ knowledge and attitude in sewing operation and sewing preparation. The exam represents the first ACCP exam held by a member country in the new work plan year of the AFTEX Skills Task Force: October 2011 – September 2012.
