SAFSA Members Doing Business Together!
Since the inaugural SAFSA Global Forum in 2010 there has been a lot of action between SAFSA members. Considering that many SAFSA members are meeting each other for the first time, it is great to see so much action in the short life of SAFSA. Here are a few highlights of what has been happening to keep you motivated:

SAFSA members seal a preliminary deal to work together after the 2011 Global Forum
Transactions valued at over US$2 million have occurred between SAFSA factory and Customer members;
A Fabric mill received formal nomination from a SAFSA Customer member;
Over 100 business-to-business meetings between SAFSA members since 2010 Global Forum;
Over 40 MOUs signed between Customer members and VVFs; and
VVF partners are frequently meeting together to plan new service offerings and devise their strategies to tailor their business with specific Customer members.
This high level of activity is expected to increase in 2012 cycle thanks to a few other member events that are being planned right now:
SAFSA Member Roundtable taking place in Hong Kong in early 2012;
SAFSA Member Roundtable taking place in New York City in March/April 2012; and
The 2012 SAFSA Global Forum, taking place in an ASEAN member country.
In addition, we’d like to remind all members that the VALUE project office is available to help facilitate meetings between members at their request. Here’s to more results between SAFSA members in 2012!
